It is pharmaceutical grade petroleum jelly (http://www.penreco.com/pdf/letters/Petrolatum_EU_Cosmetic.pdf) that is tested and screened for the level of total polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons

All of the high quality ingredients are tested before use

Lucas Papaw Ointment does not contain polyplasdone, polyvinylpyrrolidone, talc, shellac, sodium laurel sulphate

Lucas Papaw Ointment is microbiologically tested before it is released
